Sarah Gable began serving East Union as Youth Director in the Spring of 2011. She worked with multiple different youth programs prior to taking the position at East Union. Sarah is a life-long Presbyterian, having been raised at Northmont Presbyterian Church on the north side of Pittsburgh. She began her college education at Westminster College majoring in Christian Education and minoring in World Religion. Half-way through her time at Westminster, Sarah transferred to Geneva College, where she received her Bachelor’s of Science in Community Ministry.

    Sarah currently lives in a 100-year-old row house on the South Side of Pittsburgh.  Sarah’s personal attention  is focused on getting ready for her wedding. She and her finance, Jeff Marks, will be getting married in October 2011. Jeff is a senior accounting analyst for BYN Mellon. He is also an aspiring real estate investor. Sarah and Jeff have fallen in love with the West Deer area and imagine one day buying a house here and starting a family.

   When Sarah is not working she likes to hang out with friends and family. She also likes being outside, working out at the gym, traveling, and relaxing on the couch with a good book.
