Goals of Deer Lakes Nursery School
Your child is very special. It is our goal to provide a safe, warm and loving environment that is supportive
of each child's growth, development, and learning; an atmosphere in which your child will feel comfortable and secure.
Our curriculum focuses on providing a strong foundation for your child. One that will help your child:

• Learn more about the world around them
• Develop basic skills and concepts which will serve as a foundation for academic achievement
• Have a smooth transition into kindergarten
Our Mommy & Me program introduces children to the rhythms of preschool in a comfortable, age-appropriate way while giving parents meaningful one-on-one time with their child — and the opportunity to connect with other parents, too. Activies will include:
• Music, singing & instruments
• Dancing with scarves and movement activities
• Bubbles, balls & parachute play
• Story time
• Seasonal art and sensory experiences
• Fine-motor and hands-on preschool activities
• Simple early learning activities including colors, shapes, numbers and counting
• Singing the alphabet and playful exposure to letters and sounds
• Gentle preschool routines such as cleaning up, sitting together for circle time and transitioning between activities
• Free exploration with carefully selected preschool toys and classroom materials
• Special seasonal themes throughout the year
Mommy and Me (Designed for 2 yr old children and their caregivers)
Tuesdays - 11-week sessions or Drop In - 12:30-1:45pm (3 sessions Fall, Winter, Spring)
Children must be 2 years of age and accompanied by an adult caregiver
Beginner's Age (Designed for 3 yr old children)
Tuesdays/Thursdays - AM session 9:00-11:30am & PM Session 12:30-3:00pm
Children must be 3 years of age by September 1st and potty trained
Pre-Kindergarten's Age (Designed for 4 & early 5-year old children)
Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays - AM session 9:00-11:30am & PM Session 12:30-3:00pm
Children must be 4 years of age by September 1st
Tuition and Registration Fees 2026-2027 School Year
Mommy and Me 1 Day a week session - $250.00 per 11-week session, or $30 for drop-in days
2 Day a week session (Beginners) - $180.00/month
3 Day a week session (Pre-kindergarten) - $200.00/month
Registration Fee (Non-Refundable) - $50.00
Activity Fee - $100.00
