On your mark! Get set! Go!
It’s time to lace up your sneakers and join the AMAZING GRACE RACE, our first-ever Virtual VBS at East Union Church! Together, we’ll travel around the world, learn awesome songs, compete in exciting challenges and learn how to run the race of faith, while trusting in and sharing God’s grace!
Route & Race Details:
• Virtual VBS will be held online for four days from Monday, June 22-Thursday, June 25, 2020
• Online Registration at https://www.eastunionchurch.org/virtual-vbs is requested by June 15th, but is not required for participation
• Race Kits filled with a “Passport,” as well as craft and snack supplies will be provided to children who register by June 15th, and to others on a first come, first serve basis. Kits will be made available for pick up at the church during designated times the week before VBS and during VBS week, as needed.
• Virtual VBS will be available at https://www.eastunionchurch.org/virtual-vbs
• Daily VBS episodes will last about an hour, and will include the entire day’s activities. Each day’s episode will be available starting at 7:30am that day for your convenience. The Amazing Grace Race Virtual VBS will remain online through August 2020.
• Participants will virtually visit our Checkpoint Assembly, Bible Pit Stop, World Class Crafts, Runway Café, and Globetrotting Training Stations. Participants will meet a father-daughter team competing in the Amazing Grace Race, and a modern-day sailor who will bring the story of Jonah to life. Craft demonstrations, snacks and our Creature Feature will highlight our Daily Destination. Recreation will be led by youth who will lead running stretches and racing strategies.
• Children will have the opportunity to compete in Passport challenges and activities including a daily Mile Marker Memory Verse. We’re hoping to include an optional Goose Chase App Scavenger Hunt!
• Our Snack Crew has made every effort to avoid food allergens, but we urge parents to check provided snacks to be sure they are suitable and safe for your child to consume.
